dolce & gabbana spring 2011

dolce & gabbana spring 2011 wasn't one of the show i was looking forward to, but it turned out to be one of my favourites in milan and in the spring 2011 season as a whole. delicate white lace, beautiful flowery patterns, the way each dress flowed off the model - i'm in love all of it! it's so inspiring and will be one of my favourites of this season.

balenciaga spring 2011

i found myself more attracted to the end-half of balenciaga's spring/summer 2011 collection more than the first-half (though it may grow on me once it comes out in print). i especially love the sheer sleeveless patterned tops. usually I would be put off by something similar to the shape of Freja's look, but surprisingly, it's my favourite piece.

A beautiful collection of shoes found in Vogue's 1956 issue. Rich gold and black colours, detailed patterns and rhinestone covered - the things I would do to get my hands on each and every single one of them!

jil sander spring 2008 campaign

I've never really had a strong appreciation for Jil Sander campaigns before I saw this. It is the Spring 2008 campaign featuring Kasia Struss. The images are all so soft and delicate; I especially love the first one.

I have recently found myself interested in nature photography (especially photographers featured in National Geographic and the like), so when I came across this lovely set of photographs by Anna Verlet, I knew I'd found something special.

alexander mcqueen fall 2010

Every fashion blogger out there is likely to be posting about Alexander McQueen's last official collection. It was breathtaking - pieces of true art. It is hard to describe the feeling I got viewing the collection; something I will fail to put into words. All that I can say is that the fashion industry has truly severed a great loss.
